Helium recovery
plants

Helium is a
scarce commodity

Helium cannot be produced chemically. Currently, it can only be extracted as a by-product of natural gas production. However, political, technical, and logistical challenges are hampering the reliable extraction and export of the noble gas from helium-rich natural gas sources. This situation is contributing to an increased global shortage of the resource and is causing prices to rise significantly.

Our helium recovery systems have a clearly defined task: to recover as much of the noble gas as possible while being uncomplicated and easy to handle.

We configure our compact systems using high-performance, tried-and-tested standard components from our modular system. At the same time, we can implement almost any customer requirement with special customised solutions. Pressure ranges of up to 350 bar and volumes of up to 200 m³ pose no problem. Our systems enable recovery rates of over 95%.

And the great thing is that the modules making up our recovery systems can be expanded if requirements change.

In an automated circulation system with our helium leak test systems, our recovery systems represent an effective option to reduce operating costs.
