Our Company Trip to Leybold in Cologne

As an extension of our 35th anniversary celebration, nearly our entire team set off on July 12th this year for a trip to Cologne. We were in for an exciting day filled with fascinating insights and plenty of fun moments.

Early in the morning, we departed for Cologne in the Seiler company fleet, well-equipped with buttered pretzels and cold drinks for the road. Upon arrival at Leybold, our main supplier of vacuum pumps, we were warmly welcomed. The management team introduced the company, and Markus Seiler shared a few words with the gathered employees. After a refreshing lunch snack with sandwiches, we split into groups to tour the impressive production facilities. The glimpse into Leybold's work environment was well received and brought many "aha" moments.

Afterward, we had time to explore Cologne on our own: a visit to the cathedral, coffee with colleagues, or a taste of local specialties at the "Rievkoochebud" – everyone found their own highlight. To finish the day, we met at the traditional Sion brewery for a great dinner and lively atmosphere to round out the evening.

The next morning, after a relaxing breakfast, we returned to Dörlesberg – with plenty of wonderful memories and shared experiences that brought us even closer together as a team.
